Idea No - 5 Insurance for Domestic Airline

With the sudden outburst of private airlines in Indian skies, their are more than 25000 passengers travelling everyday using these airlines but none of the flights are insured. What do we mean when we speak about insurance in domestic airlines ....... well in today's world every thing can be insured, and if we are thinking about insuring 25000 people lives their is nothing wrong in it.

Why would somebody take an insurance for 1 hour flight, well people in today's world understand it does not need an hour for an accidents to happen. Thus, travelling for an duration can turn out to be our worst nightmares and we are not ready to trade our lives for anything in this world.

How will it work ???
Simple, the insurance details would be traded while booking for the tickets are being done and will cost around 100, which will include a coverage of around 2 lakhs for the flight. People can use their brains to include other benefits and leverage on charges and deals to make it more attractive.

If a airline or a Insurance company can get this thing through, the least amount of money they would mint through this could be huge on daily bases.

Just to try some figures -

5000 out of 25000 opt for insurance, 100 for a person/per flight premium on which a company gains just 10, they still make -
5000 X 10 X 365

i don't wanna count as it would make too many people greedy ....... what say ???

Idea No 4 - Canopus India Inc.

We have been following up with this dream for a long time now and as the time passes it seems more and more feasible and probably suits our current profession to the best.

Canopus India was the name of one of the software firm which we all wanted to start and see it rise as a attractive offshore development ground. The concept was to take up freash grads or final semester students, get them the feel of the industry and provide them with resources to innovate at very fresh level.This was intended b'cse as when we are get in the industry with time, we tend to specialize in on perticular feild, the other way to put it is that we concentrate in one lauguage or one area and thus our ablility to think generally and innovate from our observation from daily life dies quickly.

The other reason was that even before we could start an idea we actually would start thinking about the feasibility and implementation of it, which actually takes the charm out.

As a mentor, if we are just ready to fund and support, i think India has enough potential to rewrite google story by its fresh minds ........

Idea No 3 - Highway Hotel & Resort

This Idea flashed in our mind while we were coming back from pondycherri ......

Condsidering the current market trends and the real estate growth, the plan is proposed for less investment and high return statergy :-)

We all know that Banglore-Mysore corridor is coming in shape and its not long before we would see lot of traffic through that region. If we can find 100 X 100 , or more area to follow up with, we can actually plan a Highway hotel come resort which needs to have lots of work from landscaping side to give the pleasent look and relaxation for the travellers.

Estimated cost of this project could be as low as 10 lakhs...... only thing to check on is the land and its distance from nearest city........

This would seem more feasible if i was staying in mysore :-/

Idea No - 2 Indian Handicrafts Online

Normally while travelling to office in banglore i usually have come across lots of local crafts man who show their talent and their craftsmenship with whatever resource available on the road side and cheaply sell the hand made articles ,giving them just enough to live.

I have also seen people buying stuff very nearing to the same with some better finishing at very expensive rates in showrooms, and that's the catch.

We have been thinking of starting a Handicraft emporium abroad which will give exposure to these craftsmen art and more that just survival.

As the idea of starting it abroad seem less feasible we came up with the Idea of online store, that will fill in the gap for this geographical uncertainity.Once the site is up i would have to personelly meet a few people and try to see if i can get this stuff togerther.

So at the back of my mind, i know their is lot of work to be done.

Idea No. 1 - MatchBoxes with recycled paper

How many people think its difficult to make money by not polluting our environment or by killing mother Nature ????? Atleast i don't think so and that is why i had this thought in my mind.
We have normal match sticks which actully requires some form of wood or other ....... what if we din't use wood and neither did we use wax which will double its price,instead we use recycled hard paper to be used instead of wood and still can get the things working and guess what !!! this will further bring down the price of the match box (actualy u won't even require a match box then ) ....... ha ha ha , now that should give us some more reason to smoke :-)
